Kyle provided excellent customer service! The atmosphere was cozy and relaxed, yet upscale. The food was astounding!

The mussels were tough, and extremely fishy smelling. We ate one and had to return the dish.The Hanger steak sandwich also had a weird smell and taste to it. I felt bad complaining again, so when we got home we just gave the sandwich to our guard dog Rufus who can eat anything! He loved it!
The rest of food we ordered was just barely ok, definitely not what you would fine in a Parisian brasserie.

Very enjoyable experience. We arrived before dinner menu was available. Bar menu was just what we needed. Quality food and a unique decor. We would go back.

We went for the brunch on the weekend and had some interesting choices. I had the Bison burger which was a little dry, but overall good. Nonetheless, what made the day so enjoyable was the extremely pleasant and accommodating staff. $8 bottomless Mimosas were a hit at our table.

Service staff was very accomodating and knowledgeable about drink orders and all dinning dishes. Made it easier to order and enjoy our experience.

The atmosphere was very pleasant, servers helpful and knowledgeable, food delicious! We ate there three times during our stay at the Sofia and all were outstanding.

Love this place - Food and service is consistently excellent. Favorites are the Brussels sprouts and the pork dish (with fried egg on tom). We like the busy atmosphere of this place as well. We've had the fortune of having Kyle as our server several time and really enjoy seeing him. He is a foodie and really makes the meal enjoyable. Highly recommended.

I expected the restaurant environment is more romantic for date night, but the restaurant is like a bar, a little dark, table is next to table, no decoration. I don't think we will be back.

This is our "go-to" spot when we come downtown. It's close to everything and the food is great! I wish they would put the Rosemary Chicken over pureed cauliflower back on the menu. It was the best!

the food was luke warm bordering on cold. All of it except the soup but the coffee was luke warm as well. My husbands salmon was dry over cooked.
The waiter was nice but only made eye contact and spoke to my husband even when addressing my questions to him. I thought that was odd and rude. I am a San Diego native. We dine out a lot and wanted to give the currant a try and were very excited. Will not be back. Despite this my husband is a generous tipper because he once worked in the food industry as a server.

Food was uniquely prepared and excellent in taste and presentation. Service was terrific. We asked for a change of seating after initial placement. We were put off by the hostess' claim that the many available seats were being held for reservations, and less than half were filled be the time we left after an hour.

Our server was charming, helpful, patient. One guest sent back her salmon - was too salty. Server was sweet, didn't make us feel uncomfortable, said we had to be happy. Explained the menu, helped us decide.
