Always have a wonderful meal here. Not only the food but the ambiance is great. Later in the evening there's even singing! Great New York experience...

The prices here were absolutely absurd! I would not mind if it was a "classy" restaurant, but it was very commercialized and active. Food was decent, but a salad at $18 and a pasta dish @ 32? A "special" I inquired about was $59....just ridiculous. Our waiter was very good and we were given a small pasta dish and a glass of prisecca. Of course, we were told that we were special customers getting these, but everyone did. Not worth the money, but thank goodness I had the restaurant.com certificate to help with expenses!!!

We enjoyed the piano music and the champagne sample dishes
before dinner. When we return to NYC we plan to eat at your restaurant.

Average food at best, OVERPRICED even for the city. Rushed service

Most awesome ladies room in NYC!!! Food was presented in an artful way. Everything was fantastic. Grabbed several cards to pass out to people on the 2 buses we traveled in from the Poconos. Wonderful experience will definitely return.

I had been there before and thought the food was good, but not outstanding. I was surprised by the prices. Pasta dishes 30.00 and up and chicken dishes almost 40.00 and up. Plus the wine was 14.oo a glass. A bit pricey to say the least even for Manhattan.

Outstanding dining experience. Great food, great atmosphere. Will return when in NY.

Thought food was overpriced for what it was. Felt they were overcharging because of their location.

outrageous prices

I think the prices are too high, the food presentation was ok and only the ossobucco was delicious, other dishes were ok.

We found it overpriced and the food while not bad was not great.

Best time to go is after 8:00 when the crowd leaves for the theater.

I thought the menu was extremely overpriced. The house wine was too expensive, the pasta was overpriced as was the food options
12/16/2011 10:25:28 AM
too crowded - stuffed in like sardines. very expensive, even for the theater district. waiter was indifferent & absent most of the time.

This restaurant is so "over the top" and not in a good way. The food is mediocre at best and overpriced. For instance, $33 for a plate of ordinary spaghetti, $14 for a glass of house chianti, $17 or so for a salad we split. This place has a loud empressario who is annoying as much as he entertains the tourists who feel special being there. What a gross rip-off this place is in midtown Manhattan. Almost any place else in the area is a better bargain. Don't be fooled by the lit up pink flamingo outside. This place gives the Big Apple a rotten apple reputation.

The place was way too loud. Pianist/singer was at level 11. We could not hear the server at all as she went through the specials, I ordered chicken Alfredo as I was able to hear those two words. When it was brought to the table there were sundried tomatoes in the meal. I pointed out that I do not eat tomatoes and the server indignantly responded that she did mention them while running through the specials (which I could not hear). She then offered to take the plate in back and pick them out or bring me a plate so I could pick them out myself. Not wanting my food to be spat in i picked them out myself. Also the house win is awful for the price. Go somewhere else.

The prices were way too expensive. The dining area was too crowded with a narrow passage way for waiters and diners. The piano player, who played a wonderful array of music, was much too loud for the size of the restaurant. Table conversations were difficult to conduct.

Great restaurant, beautiful surroundings. And ladies, make sure to visit the lady's room- very romantic, with rose petals scattered all over.
