I had teriyaki chicken it was one of the worst teriyaki dishes I've had. My date had been here before and likes this place for the okonomiyaki. If I ever go back definitely trying an okonomiyaki.The decor was cluttered, like a country lunch counter but they did have some art displayed and for sale which I adore

There was no ice for the drinks, the sushi was not at all fresh and the portions were extremely small, the dining area was tiny and we were squished into our table despite the fact that the place was over half empty.

The food at Daimonji is always fresh and fabulous! We appreciate the very kind and friendly service. This is now one of our most favorite places to get authentic and high quality Japanese food.

Our meals didn't come out at the same time. Tea was cold as was the beef teriyaki. Taste was good, but the cold made it iffy.

Daimonji was not aware of the particular certificate I used ($15 for $22.50). I think they, and probably other restaurants, are participating with Restaurant.com unwillingly to a certain extent. Does Restaurant.com automatically offer certain certificate denominations without contacting the restaurants? Anyway, Daimonji honored the certificate, but they don't support the certificate I used. The food and service was exceptional.
