the best chicken kabob!

The waiter was friendly and helpful, however, because of a very large party coming in, they seemed to be a little understaffed. We were seated by a back wall which seemeed strange as there were open tables nearer the entertainment which was very enjoyable. The added on a tip, perhaps because of the coupon, which was unfortunate for them because we would have left a larger tip. We did tip the entertainers with the cash we were going to use for the wait staff.

The food used to be more flavorful. They added tip onto bill. We didn't say anything as we were with parents but didn't appreciate it. Not very professional of this establishment.

Great atmosphere and very elegant (probably the nicest Persian restaurant in LA), but the quality of food has gone down so much. The Ghormeh Sabzi was very oily and smelled burned. The rice was undercooked and smelled funny. The koobideh was too salty. The $28 Naderi kabab was just average and too expensive for what you get. The service was good and very friendly.

The first time I went to this restaurant was with an Iranian coworker. This is her favorite Persian restaurant in Orange County. The wait staff is very attentive and helpful. The food is delicious. I highly recommend the lamb. Appetizers are great here: delicious hummus, the baba ganoush with carmelized onions is yummy!

The waiter was standoffish. When we ordered a particular item, he said, "are you sure? it's sweet and sour if you like that." He implied that we weren't experienced in having their type of food. He then didn't bring us our table bread which we noticed everyone in the restaurant had. Whenever we were talking to him, he was always looking around elsewhere in the restaurant like he had something better to do than give us his attention.
The fish dish (chef's special) was bad. We had a marine biologist in our group and he said that it was really bad. He oftens orders fish in restaurants.

Food did not have the strong traditional Persian taste. Serving size were good. Faludeh, Persian Ice Cream was served melted, I had to insist for the waitress to returned it.

The service was excellent. The only problem was addind the gratuity on a party of 3. We really did not realize that and left a regular tip as well

Atmosphere was load, with party upstairs and DJ at 8:00 p.m., large party next to us kept taking pictures with flashes, felt like paparazzi, service was very slow.

server added 18% gratuity automatically to the total of our check (before discounting the coupon amount) and INSISTED that the coupon details stated to do so. When I pointed out that is was "only suggested" that we tip on the total before the discount, she became even more defensive and we had to ask for the manager. After the manager voided the server's error, the server again confronted us on the way out and was insistent and argumentative in front of all the other restaurant patrons and staff.

The food was excellent. They had messed up my husband's order - served lamb kabob instead of the Naderi kabob that he had ordered). But overall it was a good experience.

They didn't have tadiq ready and the waiter had to ask if they had the oven roasted chicken which was the special!!

The restaurant is very beautiful and the service excellent. However, the food was very bland. Now, I am not an expert on Persian food, but I would think that it would have more flavor, considering how high the quality of the ingredients were.

I ordered the fresh trout and although it tasted great it was overcooked and on the crispy side. The server could have been more available to refill our water, ask if we needed anything. My husband's dinner had a choice of soup or salad and server didn't ask which he preferred and brought the salad, which he didn't want. We asked another employer for soup, which was provided and delicious.
