Wonderful atmosphere, food was divine, service was exceptional. We will definitely be going back. I would not recommend it to families with children, though.

We were left waiting at the table for 20 minutes until I got up and told the bartender we still were not greeted by our waiter. Besides that, service was awesome!

It was a busy time and there were multiple large parties, so everything was a little slow. We were there about two hours from the time we arrived until departure, which was much more time than we initially planned on spending. We plan on giving Derek's another chance, though, hopefully during a less hectic time and day.

Waiter was inexperienced, did not know what the specials were. Food was mediocre and pricey for the quality. Amount spent listed here was with 25.00 certificate deducted. Restaurant could use an overhaul from the kitchen on out.

Always enjoy eating at Dereks. Food and drink is always excellent, along with the service. One of my favorite places in Manayunk.

I am a vegetarian and there is always something for me to eat on the menu. The food quality is good. The taste is great. The waitstaff is very nice.

Food was good, as always. Ambience nice. We were disappointed that the restaurant no longer has parking reimbursed by the lot near Carson Street, which cost us $10. The sign outside the door still includes that lot. Also, service was unusually slow -- we were there for 3 hours altogether. Fortunately we were not in a hurry.

The hostess may have been new, but she was disinterested and not at all engaging. She sat us right by the door, where it was too cold to enjoy our meal or private conversation. (She later sat a couple in a tiny corner of the restaurant and they asked to be re-seated.) Our server was attentive and the food was delicious, but even with the coupon, I wasn't satisfied with the quality of service for what we paid.

Dereks has evolved into the most sophisticated dining destination on Main Street. Some of our guests come in regularly for our great specials, from Sunday Bloody Sunday to Martini Thursday. Others come for a great steak and a romantic interlude.
