Pizza in one form or another has been a basic part of the Italian diet. Since before the Roman Empire, in the 19th century, three brothers: Cosmo, Aldo, and Savatore De Domenico of Gaeta, Italy experimented to make Pizza with the colors of the Italian Flag. The final result consisted of tomatoes, cheese, and basic leaves. This was the creation of the modern pizza. At Di Napoli Restaurant we use old fashioned homemade methods not only in baking, but also in preparing. Dough is made fresh, mixing and kneading by hand in small quantities at a time. Our sauce is made with whole, ripe tomatoes crushed by hand, then seasoned. Only fresh vegetables, meat and the finest ingredients available are used to serve you, our valued customers.
