THIS RESTAURANT SERVES THE BEST SOUL FOOD I HAVE HAD IN YEARS. THEY ARE IN A HORRIBLE LOCATION-IN A GOOD NEIGBORHOOD BUT IN A DEAD SHOPPING CENTER WITH LITTLE OR NO ROAD VISIBILITY. THEY NEED TO THRIVE ON WORD OF MOUTH TYPE ADVERTISING. MY WIFE AND I LOVED OUR EXPERIENCE AND WILL SPREAD THE WORD ABOUT THEM.

Fried chicken took 30 minutes. Make sure you have plenty of time for your meal. They did offer me an appetizer while I waited, on the house. The food was delicious.

The wait staff was young and didnt know how to take orders, they have an all you can eat but if the waitress doesnt tell the kitchen you get these small portions. I didnt like the food and I wil not be back.

Friendly staff but they did not have 3 menu items requested, black-eyed peas, meatloaf, peach cobbler. Food was reminiscent of childhood comfort foods.

The place was kinda small little overhead they close the door at eight so turn off fryers at seven thirty..But when the food came out is was well worth the wait...the staff was very friendly they came out and talked to us..

THE RESTAURANT WAS NICE AND COZY, HOSTESS WAS GREAT. THE FOOD PRESENTATION WAS A LITTLE OFF. ALL FOOD SHOULD HAVE BEEN SITUATED ON 1 PLATE INSTEAD OF ONLY THE MEAT ON A BIG PLATE. THE RIBS WERE BOILED AND THE BBQ SAUSE WAS TOO THIN. THE GUMBO WAS DELICIOUS BUT HAD TOO MANY SHELLS AND BONES THAT WAS CRUNCHY.

The employees were more than congenial. Food was good, only real drawback was having to dine while rap music was playing overhead. I don't know that I'd go back, as I don't care for the music.

The restaurant seemed brand new and family owned. It was an absolute joy being there and look forward to going back.

The service was outstanding, our water glasses were never empty. We were treated with a cup on delicious gumbo gratis, as well as two chittlin samplers gratis. They had live entertainment and a warm atmosphere
