We always enjoy dining at Edomae. This visit was even better because initially we were the only ones in there :-)

The food is fairly good, the location is convenient but the business and staff need improvement. Miscommunication between staff has caused problems on multiple different visits to this restaurant. Missing food in to-go orders and having to pay more due to one server saying differently than register staff has made this place more of an annoyance and just anticipate problems.

The sushi and hibachi are good, pretty standard. However the service was a little slow and it wasn't busy.

Service was pretty good, I was expecting a hibachi grill experience, but no grills, just the same hibachi food brought to your table. We ordered the teriyaki salmon and chicken, and the yaki soba chicken and beef. The food was average, nothing spectacular. I thought the prices were a bit high considering the quality. Maybe I'll go back just to give their sushi a chance, but not expecting a 5 star experience.

Would have said excellent but service a bit slow. Ordered appetizer and it came AFTER the entree.

My food was overcooked, underseasoned and terrible. I ordered the filet and asked for med.well and got almost burnt. I had lobster that was so dry and not even recognizable on the plate. The waitress told management of my issues with the preparation of my food and they never even came to the table to acknowledge my displeasure. I would never go back there. I will pass the experience along to my friends.

Too many people and not well staffed to handle it. No one ever acknowledged us from the time we came in, until we waited almost 10 minuted just for a waiter. Very very poor service!!
