Rated 5 out of 5 by Food, service and atmosphere were great! Mar 31, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by This was our first time at the Elkridge Furnace Inn, and we enjoyed the food (we had the venison and flounder). I felt very well attended to by all of the staff, including the waiter and host and even the cheff who came out to personally greet us during the meal. The fireplace was lit, and it was a cozy, comfortable room with its historic charm. Afterwards, we walked outside to the ceremony platform by the Patapsco River to get a view, and it was very picturesque. Unfortunately, it was too cold outside to stay and enjoy the scenery for too long! Overall, a very nice experience. Mar 30, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by We were greeted at the door by our waiter (he physically opened the door)and escorted to a table near the working fireplace. The service was quick, drinks were good, questions about the menu were answered correctly, and the final bill came promptly. Feb 12, 2015
Rated 3 out of 5 by Really bad service, waiter took a long time bringing drinks. Forgot coffees, manager poured coffee as she was refilling others, forgot for 15 minutes to check on the kinds of fruit in the fruit salad 2 hours into service, blitzes were cold so were sent back and came out colder the second time, but singed on the outside. The server never asked me how I wanted the eggs with my breakfast and I forgot to mention so didn't get eggs that I wanted. The sugar snap peas weren't trimmed and we're very stringy and tough. The pastries were obviously microwaved to heat them resulting in very doughy product. On the upside, the home made chorizo and the potatoes dauphine were good. Feb 8, 2015
