No one greeted us when we came in to the restaurant. Someone at the bar across the room told us we could sit where we wanted.

The atmosphere is really nice and Saturday night they had live guitar music menu is limited but the prices are in the moderate price range the wine by the glass was the only down fall it was a little pricey. The food was great I will go back again for sure. Only add I wish they had a wine list with the price per bottle.

Farina's was a really neat experience, for the most part. We tried a local red wine, which was quite good, and everyone enjoyed the food...except me at first. I ordered the Chicken Marsala, a dish traditionally with a marsala sauce, reduced down into a thin sauce with sliced mushrooms. Farina's, however, was thick like a tomato sauce, which I did not care for. Then the spaghetti on the side was topped with a tomato sauce, which I didn't think went well at all. Overall I sent it back and got the Chicken Alfredo two others in my party already had. It was very good! My other guest had a salad, which was wonderful in size and content, her only comment was that she should have asked for dressing on the side because it was heavily dressed. Also, we liked the ambiance, but the music was far too loud. For a packed room especially, everyone trying to talk over the music, which was already blaring, it made it very difficult to hear anyone unless you were an inch from their face. Service was very good and fast. We really did enjoy our night and would go back, but maybe we will either sit outside next time or ask them to turn the music down. Our good night would have been exceptional if not for the volume.

We enjoyed the area and restaurant. We wish we had realized that there was an outdoor patio and second room for dining. The room we were in was a bit loud for us.

Farina's is amazing! Not only do they have great food, wine and service, but they offer numerous atmospheres. This is the perfect place to go for any occasion; first date, birthday celebration, anniversary, you name it! Sit by the bar and be entertained by live music or sit on the patio and feel as though you are in the heart of the wine country!
