Rated 3 out of 5 by Service was excellent. Being the day after Valentine's Day, the selection I wanted from the brunch menu had been sold out. I chose eggs benedict. The toast was so hard, I could hardly cut through it with fork & knife. The poached eggs still had uncooked whites - not appetizing! The potatoes were hard & very ordinary. The grapefruit juice was the best part...The rich, chocolate dessert was OK, but I wish the main food had been much better! Feb 15, 2015

Rated 3 out of 5 by We so used to enjoy going to First Course; however, something has happened in the not so recent past, and the food and service are not what we had become accustomed to in over 10 years of going there. The bistro salad that I have had many, many times, I asked for lightly dressed. I was looking forward to the yolk of the poached egg on it. However, the salad was swimming in dressing and I had to send the egg back as it was hard. My gumbo was practically inedible, it was so vinegary and the fish in it was horrible, tasted old. The brined chicken was not fully cooked. Something needs to change!!!!!! Feb 2, 2015
Rated 2 out of 5 by service is odd - no one checking back to see how the food is after a few bites, server not overly friendly or proactive, food is way too salty... content of food is excellent, but most everything was TOO salty Feb 1, 2015
Rated 3 out of 5 by Good servive, but beef was dry and barely lukewarm. Prices are too high for the descending quality at this once-fine restaurant. We won't go back. Jan 30, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by The Wood benches and wood chairs were very uncomfortable. The room was cold. The wood bench was up against a cold wall. The potatoes were not heated enough. Jan 29, 2015
