The restaurant was clean, people were very friendly, it was very busy but we were waited on promptly. Service was great. We had the prime rib, rare and it WAS rare! Very flavorful. I couldn't be happier.

Chicken Wings were excellent, great Cocktails and realaxed atmosphere, but not a fan of the Nachos.

The male waiter was very attentive. He made sure we had everything and was very pleasant. The food was delicious and onion rings were hot and fresh.

My husband and I both had the Prime Rib dinner. The portion size, the taste and how it was cooked was perfect. Potato and Veg plus salad bar was great too. Their Clam chowder was amazing!!!
The service was a little relaxed and the atmosphere is very casual. I would consider this place as a Great hole-in the wall find! We will be going back soon to try the Rib dinner next! there are not many tables so again we are going before 6pm!

Relaxed setting,friendly staff, amazing food. The steaks were tender, cooked to perfection and the cheese cake was world class.

While the "ambience" was nothing to get excited about, we were well aware of where we were going and nothing more was expected. It was clean, the waitress was very friendly and one of the cooks helped serve so we could get first hand knowledge of the food. Anything lacking in decor was more than compensated in quality of the food. The meal was far better than most fancy/expensive/upscale restaurants. This is a real gem in the country.

Bread was supposed to come with meal; we never received. Steak was undercooked for well done. Length of wait. Freezing cold restaurant; guests ate in winter coats.

Everyone associated with the Hindquarter House was friendly, efficient, and ready to go out of his/her way to ensure that we enjoyed our visit from start to finish. This is a great place to go to have a hot date with one's spouse.
