The food was excellent, as usual. Portions are generous, we always have take-home.

Appetizer took a long time to be delivered and drinks were not refreshed as needed during that time. A long stretch between app and dinner. 1 dinner was room temp but the other 2 were hot. Roll and butter not provided with each dinner as stated in the menu (had to request, and only received 1 roll with butter) . One special request, extra butter for potato was not delivered, even after the waitress realized she forgot it and a second request.

Took an unusually long time to get our food; the restaurant was not crowded and most tables were empty or had just 2 or 3 patrons.

Casual, relaxed atmosphere, great food, great service. Best french fries I have EVER had - seriously - I don't even like french fries all that much, I always ask to substitute them at other restaurants, but I look forward to them at J. Clarks, they are absolutely the best. I've been going to J. Clarks for 20+ years and I've never had a bad meal.

Food was excellent and our server was excellent too.

The waitress was friendly, but it took a long time to get our food. We were there for more than 1.5 hours, and most of that time was spent waiting. The burger I got was good (7.5 out of 10) and the serloin my wife got was dry (4 out of 10). The atmosphere was a pleasant bar scene.

We've been going there for years...
The newer mgmnt have improved the fare and the service has ALWAYS been very good. Even if you visit infrequently the servers remember and are attentive and friendly and real not CORPORATE FAKES from some chains.
