I love eating at john cutters because it has great food, service and atmosphere. As well as great prices! I would definitely recommend it to a friend.

We enjoyed to food. We enjoyed the drink when we could et them. Server came to check on us once right after we were served our food and never came by again till we waved her down for desert. We tried waving her down to refill my tea but she paid no attention to us what so ever. We not happy with service at all. Then had to tip for being ignored. Since my husband is a banquet server at 13 different properties, he is the only reason I tipped tonight and didn't complain. We will give it another try but if it happenes again we will NEVER be back.

The food and service were great. We both had filets and they were very tender, cooked the way we requested and just mouth watering delicious. The salad was not boring but very nicely done as was the loaded baked potato. There were no screaming kids!

We usually enjoy the atmosphere at JC, but last evening they were hosting a "friends and family" type event which packed the place with numerous [and very boisterous] youngsters [making the noise level much louder than usual] and left us thinking that this should have been a "closed" event [thereby making the restaurant unavailable to the public]! Usually we enjoy staying around and watching the sporting events on TV - but last night we were thrilled to get out the door after eating so we could enjoy the "peace and quiet!"
A second comment would revolve around the fact that we entered a few minutes before 6 pm and we're enticed by the waitperson to have a "Happy Hour" 1/2 price app before ordering which we did [1, which we shared]. We then proceeded to order drinks and 4 full-priced meals from the menu. At the end, we were informed [per management]that we shouldn't be able to use our coupon because we had ordered that 1 Happy Hour app. We argued the fact and they did take our coupon - but our waitperson told us that she had paid for our app because they wouldn't let her put it on a separate check. We in turn reimbursed her [quite substantially] ... and were left with the feeling that considering the imposition of the "management-hosted party" that we endured, it would have been much "smarter" had the manager said; "just forget about charging them the extra $6 ... as a 'thank you' for staying here as a paying customer despite the NOISE!"

The chicken was greasy, the asparagus was mushy and the steak had no flavor at all. Even the salad didn't taste good. We did have a spring roll appetizer that was great. OUR waitress was extremely friendly however when we asked a (different) server standing behind the bar to put on a football game (only golf was on) she was rude.
