Kc Cabin has a friendly atmosphere. The waitress are quick and friendly. The food is always good and we feel is a fair price.

Our waitress Bree was great. I have been in 4 star restaurants where the staff was not as friendly or attentive. The food was very good, except the hamburger didn't taste quite right and Bree promptly took it away and brought a Ruben sandwich which was excellent

The atmosphere was fun and welcoming. Guests ALL seemed to be enjoying themselves. Liked there was Volleyball and other spring summer activities and seasonal snowmobilers were warming up w/a good meal and friendship. It all markets to keep your KC Cabin Family/Guests involved. Seems like a fun place year round. We ordered 1 charburger and 1 cheese burger w/fries and a few beers because we heard the burgers were good. The burgers were nice looking great hearty portions, nice firm tasty kosher pickle, nice bun and toppings and thin yummy crunchy fries. BUT we expected the meat to be CHARRED or GRILLED tasting and they were not which was disappointing. The burgers were perfectly done but they just tasted PAN FRIED which was disappointing.If you guys grill or really CHAR your burgers they would be the ROCK STAR burgers in Lake County "Literally". You have everything else going on...perfect location, great friendly, proffessional efficient staff. Your manager even came to each table and asked how everything was! GREAT! We will return and try your patty melts next time. You guys have a burger rock star business that is new competition
that has popped up in Waconda and now in Grayslake called BULLDOGS...its on the Food Network now...go check them out to csee what they have going on :) . Compete for #1 burger in the area and draw in new guest to KC's Cabin. You guys know Men like to eat meat! Bulldogs is like a man cave like KC's :). Thank you, we had a fun time at your cabin :)

Our server was very rude when it came time to pay bill. We had a coupon for $3 off pizza but when we tried to use our $10 gift certificate from restaurants.com she said we could not use a coupon and a gift certificate. That doesn't even make sense! Finally she let us use the gift certificate but NOT the coupon. Whatever they is the last time we will go there!

The waitress we had was the worse one ever. I asked for tarter sauce and ice water 3 times and never got it.It didn't seemed to busy either. Seemed like the waitress wanted to spend more time at the bar instead of the dinning room. We were not the only ones that felt this way as we sat and talked with the tables next to us. I was very disappointed with the little waitress with the tattoos.
