Highlights

King Tut Restaurant, formerly Sabbaba and Sabra, has been serving Philadelphia for over 25 years. We offer Lebanese, Egyptian, and Isreali fine dining cuisine now at 1240 Pine Street. Our special dish Shawarma made from 100% lamb meat is rarely made and we have dishes made with fresh halal meat and try our delicious homemade baklava for dessert. The executive chef and owner Tina is inspired by her culture and homeland and infuses her passion through her dishes. Tina takes her culture to the next level with a breathtaking restaurant that brings customers' a memorable dining experience with the ambience of Beirut, Egypt, and Isreal-known as "the Paris of the Middle East". We also offer hookahs as part of the dining experience.

Rated 4 out of 5 by We truly enjoyed most of the dishes, and the owner was very attentive. We were on our way to a theater and the meal timing was perfect. Feb 6, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by I will go back and I have recommended to friends - food is very good and affordable. Feb 6, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Very small and crowded with a noisy large party in house, but the service was excellent, atmosphere was good and food was great. I will definitely go there again. Feb 6, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Host was most accommodating, and the food a was different from what you can get elsewhere. We were presented with some samples of appetizers and wine made to the owners recipe and brewed locally. We enjoyed the offerings and would return again, when in the Philadelphia area. Feb 6, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Wonderful, delicious food. Charming service. Very accommodating--kept our leftovers for us while we went to theater. Reasonable prices, casual atmosphere. HIGHLY recommend. Feb 6, 2012

Rated 5 out of 5 by This is a modest little restaurant, a small corner cafe, with very fresh and interesting food, good prices and service. It was excellent for pre-theater. It is perfect for a really good meal rather than a "dining" experience. I will certainly return and highly recommend it. Nov 4, 2011
