Restaurant Description
The Kirby Grill was at one time the Kirby House, a hotel of yesteryear. It then went into restaurant duty, becoming Shuler's and Sail Inn, at which time the lovely brick facade was entirely covered by a Bavarian-looking surface. Now it transitions from bustling tourism and summertime fun to offering locals warmth and familiarity. Chef Tom Webb has created a tremendous variety of excellent menu items spanning the globe. He visits the Far East, the Deep South, the Southwest and elsewhere with favorite standards and imaginative seasonal selections. The deck is a favorite place to kick back and watch boats, cars, and people go by while listening to guitar or steel drums. Late on the weekends is not suggested for the shy, as this is the place to go for tremendous fun and music, and dancing often ensues.
