Service was good and everyone was friendly. Our chef, Jesse, was great. He was engaging and funny and the food was good. We have 6 teenagers and there are not too many times that they all agree that the food was good, the restaurant was nice and that they had fun. It was a fun family night for us. We have recommended Kobe to family and friends.

Though the certificate was supposed to be good for lunch, new mgmt decided not to honor it for lunch anymore.

Overall it was rather enjoyable, we just had a couple of complaints. First of all, the three of us that ordered white rice never received it. The waiter was moving at such a fast pace that we were unable to ask him about it. He was refilling drinks quickly, but we would have appreciated if he would have stayed at the table for more than two seconds. Also, we were all interested in Kobe's cultural desserts - tempura ice cream and tempura banana. That evening, we were there at about 7:30pm, they had neither. We were rather disappointed and ended up going to the Cheesecake Factory for dessert instead.

Food was good and atmosphere was okay but service was horrendous. We waited for everything. Food was left off our plates and took them a while to get it corrected. Waiter did not care about our bad experience and admitted it to us. He was very lucky that gratuity was already included. It's a shame that a restuarant with decent food had such horrible service because no one in our party will be going back or recommending this place. It truely was the worst experience I've had at a restaurant.

The service was terrible, are drinks were not delivered in a timely manner and part of them was missing. Refills took longer than expected. We waited over 45 minutes for our sushi to be delivered and almost an hour for the teppanyaki to be started. After the appetizers and starters were served, we realized there were no utensils. It took another 5 minutes to find someone to bring them.

Sopu was not authentic and salad was smothered in ranch. Where in the ginger japanese dressing? they forgot to bring me my rice. I called to see about a reservation I was told that they could not take reservations. While waiting in line the hostess asked if we had a reservation
