Lima's Taste specializes in authentic Peruvian recipes that were passed down to chef Nelly from her Grandmother while growing up in Lima Peru. Nelly was tugging on grandma's apron as the women in the neighborhood would gather in one another's kitchens trading recipes while preparing feasts and dinners. Some of the dishes can be traced back to the Inca civilization - such as the Escaveche. This chicken or fish dish is seasoned with Panca peppers, vinegar and garlic. Onions and yucca surround this novel dish. The Incas used this dish medicinally for respiratory ailments. We invite you to experience our Peruvian Ceviche. Fresh, ripe fish and seafood, absorbing and cooking in the juices of lemons & limes, spices and seasonings. This makes Peruvian Ceviche one of the healthiest foods one can treat their body to. Experience the taste of the Causa which is a spiced up mashed potato ball stuffed with avocado and, seasoned chicken, or Russian salad, or shrimp. Or be adventurous and try The Anticucho skewered chunks of grilled cow heart an amazingly tender and beautiful piece of meat comparable with fillet mignon. Speaking of fillet Mignon try the Lomo Saltado cubes of fillet mignon, tomatoes, onions, and French fries, stir fried together and seasoned with Peruvian spices. Lima is a seaside city in Peru, so don't overlook the Picante shrimp, scallops, squid and baby octopus seasoned and sauteed in a creamy pepper sauce that will take your taste palette to a new land.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Great paella and ceviche! Nov 16, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Food was very carefully portioned and got smaller and less generous every time we went back. Seems that the restaurant is not doing well to be so sparing. Oct 31, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by The food is always amazing. The restaurant has gotten more romantic and is never annoyingly busy. However, the service, while good, could be improved by checking on us a bit more often. Oct 18, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by The food and service were both very good. I was a little disappointed that the in-restaurant menu varied significantly from the online menu, which contained a large variety of ceviche dishes - which was the main reason I went. Oct 16, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Rustic but clean and cozy. The dishes are excellent and wish they were more generous with the sauce in the dishes. Very delicious. First time we had more sauce than the second time of visit. Sep 13, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Food is too overpriced and the server had very little menu knowledge. Jul 26, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Asoccer game was on upon arrival so that it was very noisy and service was initially slow---once the game ended everything was great---I was glad that they had that business Jul 12, 2014
