Rated 1 out of 5 by The service was extremely slow. There was a mistake with our food order and it was only partially satisfied. Sep 28, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by For me it came down to the quality and quantity of the food. I ordered the chicken breast (which was bland) congri and tonstones. My breast was slightly bigger than the kids portion I ordered my son. It was about 1/3 the size of an average butterflied breast. I also received two small tostones. My wife ordered the palomilla (which was also bland and very greasy) congri and plantains. The congri was tasty and and the ham croqueta was absolutely delicious. Other than the croqueta and the sandwiches I will probably not go back for anything else. This is the second time we have gone and ordered two different items and have had the same results. We both left saying we won't be back. We would rather go to Casa Vana, Sergios, Havanah Harry's, Los Ranchos, etc... I don't mean to be harsh, I hope this helps. The atmosphere was great, the staff was friendly, the location is perfect because there is not much in terms of cuban food on the east side. However, we think it is worth to drive a little further for better quality and a decent portion. Sep 26, 2014

Rated 3 out of 5 by The seasoning of the breaded steak and the chicken were extremely bland. The breaded steak did not even have salt. very disappointed. The cream of malanga was very watery. Even Sergios cream of malanga is better tasting. We asked for sangria and we were told they were out. And last time we were there we asked for the shrimp plate on the menu and we were also told they were out too.??? Two times with two different waiters and they seemed to be upset to be there. Not friendly at all. I did not feel welcome. Even they forgot one of the appetizer but charged it anyways. I love the atmosphere of the restaurant but the food and service was very disappointing.
