Highlights

Malarkey's Tavern is founded on one of the strongest Irish principles, having fun. Here at Malarkey's we pride ourselves on our service, andknowledge of our products. We serve twenty beers on draft, and eighty ina bottle. However, there is more to us than just beer. We highlyrecommend you try our food. . All of our staff is trained to serve you. They have a well-rounded knowledge of all the beers that we carry, and will be more thanhappy to assist you in picking just the right brew for you. They also knowour menu. We feed our employees well here, and as a result theirknowledge of our kitchen is extensive. Not sure what sounds good? Justask, it is our mission to make sure you have a good time, and are well fed.As is our namesake, we are full of Malarkey. We'll try not to trick you toomuch, but much like our native leprechauns, it is in our nature. Our bar has been crafted to help you kick back, relax, and enjoy yourself. We have worked hard to ensure you a beautiful place to gather. Whetherit may be the beams on our ceiling or the lanterns above the bar andbooths, we have gone above and beyond to give you a true Irishexperience.

Located two miles east of Bagenalstown, Ireland is Ballymoon castle. Mostlikely built by the Carew family between 1290 and 1310 this castle isextraordinary. It is completely vacant, and bare, most likely because it isrumored to never have been finished, and is now haunted. From thiscastle we obtained the wooden beams that line our ceiling, and the stoneswe laid on the top of our East and West walls.

Our beautiful green lanterns hung around the bar were bought fromChristy Bird Collectibles, in Dublin. They're hand-crafted and here foryour gazing.

Authentic Irish architecture, for a truly Irish atmosphere.
