Mamma's Cucina Italian Restaurant
My 1st impression was "oh no, this is gonna be awful" and the ambience did leave much to be desired. But the food was surprisingly good. The mussels and calimari were among the best I've ever had! Both were tender, not rubbery at all, mussels had no grit and they were both cooked perfectly! The mussel's marinara sauce was a tad salty. The entrees - ranging from chicken marsala to shrimp alfredo also did not disappoint. Again, the shrimp was cooked to perfection. The alfredo sauce did lack substance, i.e. cheese. It was very thin and not really what I'd call an alfredo, but it was tasty. The desserts were wonderful - particularly the chocolate mousse cake and cannoli. I would recommend the food -- maybe for take out so you can make your own ambience!

The food was very good, better than you would expect from a shopping center restaurant. There was no way of escaping that you were in a retail type atmosphere. Big open room with lots of very bright light coming in from the windows.
We would go back for a quick dinner mid week after work. Just not on a Saturday date night.

Buffet items were cold and platter of salmon cakes was burned. Service was just okay.

We waited over 35 minutes for our food to arrive and about 20 minutes just to get a soda refill. We had to hunt down the waitress to get our check and that took another 20 minutes or so.

We were lost and they got directions to help us find them. They were so kind throughout the entire dinner. Drinks were always topped off and the food was excellent!
