Rated 3 out of 5 by the Mexican food was different, but they did not clean the sand veins out of the shrimp so all 3 plates had shrimp, so it felt like eating sand! Sep 16, 2015

Rated 5 out of 5 by The Food not only had a good presentation but the taste of the food was extremely excellent. The flavor and the texture was delicious. And the plates had a lot of food that we shared. I'll give them 5+ Sep 1, 2015
Rated 2 out of 5 by The food was quite good and of reasonable value but the appearance of the building and parking area could be improved. Aug 11, 2015

Rated 4 out of 5 by If you want some authentic, well prepared Mexican coastal seafood, this is one of two small places in San Antonio that I know of, that does an outstanding job of both preparation and presentation; motor in and tie your boat up here. The chef knows his art and expresses it in the dishes like I had; soft corn tortillas filled with chopped shrimp and sauteed mushrooms covered with a garlicky red sauce and slices of avocado - artful arranged and scrumptious. The ubiquitous fried shrimp were also perfectly done in a corn meal batter and served on a basket of fries with a mild tartar sauce. But the real star of the show was the shrimp cocktail - a cold glass schooner piled high with avocado chunks, medium sized fresh shrimp that schooled in a red saucey liquid below with just the right amount of chopped onion, cilantro and a very slight overtone of Worcestershire in the sauce. The glass was topped off with a cucumber slice that had been partially dipped in chile powder. Squeezed in a couple halves of lime and with the first spoonful, memories of a surf-side palapa, ice cold Coronas and ridiculously fresh seafood, and our toes stuck in the sand; all came rushing back - some of the best "campechana" style cocktail I have had in two countries can be found here.
