I have an 11 month old grandbaby and we are always welcomed and never made to feel as if we are an inconvenience with her yells and spills.

new waitress, we had to ask her for everything so our dinner was interrupted the entire time for this and that.

This restaurant has a great family atmosphere and the food is so much better than any "chain" Mexican restaurant!

The overall meal was good the place was quite and pleasant. Our waiter was new and not as sharp but service good.

It's gotten a little salty in the food recently. I wonder if they have a new cook because it was not like that before. I prefer to add the salt if I need to.

This was my mothers day dinner (a day early). I chose this restaurant because it was one of my deceased son 's favorites and the last one that we had a meal together in a restaurant. Such sweet memories! Such good food!

Located at 5613 McCart Ave in Fort Worth, TX, Mexico Real Mexican Restaurant offers traditional Tex-Mex dishes and also authentic platters from Mexicos central region. Owners Joaquin and Martha Miranda were both born in Mexico (Joaquin in the state of Zacatecas and Martha in the state of Jalisco). Both moved to Fort Worth at a young age. They met right before Martha finished her studies at Texas Christian University in Business Administration. With valuable experience obtained while working for Beceras Mexican Food, Joaquin opened his first restaurant in 1993. Joaquin and Martha married in 1994. In 1995, they bought Beceras and renamed it Mexico Real Mexican Restaurant. The grand opening took place on December 1st, 1995. Since 1995, the Miranda family has grown from two to five with the addition of daughters Laura (13), Erika (10) and Sofia (6) and Mexico Real has expanded to over 4,000 SF and can now accomodate up to 200 customers. We have been serving the same delicious dishes since 1995 and have added a few more along the way. t is hard to identify which of our dishes are the most popular but the beef or chicken fajita platter, beef or chicken enchiladas, chefs enchiladas, spinach enchiladas, and San Antonio Nachos are a few of the crowd favorites. We offer a family atmosphere and can accomodate small and large groups alike. Our prices are very affordable and the margaritas will certainly ease the edge off a hard day!
