Restaurant Description
Welcome to Heritage Station Restaurant and Bar, Known by most local residents as the B&O Railroad Station. The Ohio River Railroad built the station in 1892. In 1901 the B&O Railroad took control of the Ohio River Railroad by stock ownership. At one time the station served four passenger trains daily, including routes to Pittsburgh and Cincinnati. The last sleeping car service ended in September 1952 and the last first class passenger train left from the station on Jan. 31,1957. Notables who have stopped at the station include Presidents Theodore Roosevelt, Warren G. Harding and Dwight Eisenhower. It is the goal of the owners and management to create a true showcase restaurant in downtown Huntington that will provide the community and tourists with distinguished service, a diversified menu selection and ambiance you won't find anywhere else.
