Welcome to Hee Been! We have operated our family-owned business since 1964, the last ten years at our present (newly remodeled) location. Our name translated from Korean is hee which mean "fortune" and been which mean "customer." So with our name we extend our very best wishes to you. We are honored by the many positive reviews and awards we have received over the years from such sources ad The Washington Post's Phyllis Richman, Zagat surveys, and KoreanDC.com (who gave us the top rating of all Korean food establishments in Northern Virginia) and repeated Washingtonian Magazine best-restaurant designations. We are committed to being the best Korean restaurant in the Washington metropolitan area, while also offering some popular Japanese dishes. We always use high quality natural ingredients with no MSG. When you order a main dish from the menu, we will serve you several small side dishes called ban chan featuring pickles vegetables and other Korean delicacies.
