Restaurant Description
Serving the House of Representatives and all their friends since 1980. Come enjoy the party atmosphere at our forty foot bar. Happy hour every night from 5:00 to 8:00 pm. The food is great, with a wide variety to choose from - and we still serve the best burgers on the hill. Come out and enjoy our outdoor cafe. If you're having a private party or fundraiser from 50 to 250 people, let us cater your event!
What's in a Name?
Theodore Roosevelt, our 26th President, was one of America's most colorful & well-loved politicians. He was also quite the man when it came to turning a phrase. When faced with frustrations or patently absurd situations, Teddy would boon out "Bullfeathers!" He did appreciate good manners & knew that "Bull____" was unacceptable in proper company.
Teddy Roosevelt always relished the challenges & fullness of life. In this regard, we like our mentor, T.R., find that good food & drink with friends makes the everyday "Bullfeathers" more tolerable. It is our stated goal to take some of the edge off, take some of the "Bullfeathers" out of life & put a little more fun back in!
