Restaurant Description
Friendly and thoughtful service is a hallmark of sola, providing a comfortable, warmly lit neighborhood spot to celebrate special occasions or enjoy a casual dinner with friends. Special acoustic work, a state of the art sound system and a three-sided fireplace evoke a relaxed, conversation-friendly environment in intimate earth tones. The menu stars the contemporary American cuisine for which Chef Carol Wallack is known.
The seasonal menu will be straightforward American with California flair and plenty of Asian and Hawaiian flavors. Look for choices like a trio of tuna tartars with thai cucumber salsa, Dijon-encrusted rack of lamb stuffed with cambazola, opakapaka (Hawaiian snapper) en papillote with pineapple, shiitake, mint and cilantro.
