The three owners Douglas, Ross & Howard understand that the "classic" hamburger has been around since the dawn of time and has evolved into more than just a satisfying "diner" food item. Rare's ultimate objective is to enhance the hamburger eating experience by showcasing the 8-ounce juicy delight within an upscale restaurant environment.

Unlike any other restaurant in New York, Rare offers an unprecedented variety of burgers that can satisfy anyone's cravings, ranging from our very popular T-Bone Burger with truffle aoili, apple smoked bacon and home made crispy onions to the Organic Turkey Burger with olive tempenade and feta pesto. Our diversified menu accommodates all people so no need to single out those non-meat eaters.
