Daffodil Restaurant pairs the Bay Area's best seasonal cuisine with great wines from around the world - with a bit of a twist. We're offering small plates matched with an ample pour of a friendly wine that brings out the best flavors of the food. Whether it's a salad of Arugula, Point Reyes Blue Cheese and Asian Pears matched with a Sancerre or Braised Short Ribs paired with a bold Merlot, hungry diners will find a lovely selection of food and wine to satisfy any palate. Daffodil is adjacent to the hotel's lobby. A marble entrance brings you into a graceful dining room with tabletops that are appointed with elegant linens, Rosenthal china and an array of unique china patterns. A round cherry table centered under pin lights is graced with a stunning floral display and separates the Bar from the dining room. Paintings by local San Francisco artists grace the walls while arched floor-to-ceiling windows lend views of bustling Bush Street.

A glass walled, private dining room featuring beautiful displays of one-of-a-kind wines can accommodate up to 24 guests.

The Bar is covered in reddish brown granite with high bar chairs. Whimsical lighting hangs over the bar and drama is created with an amazing array of inset lighting throughout the restaurant. Fine wines by the glass or bottle, an extensive choice of whole leaf teas, and specialty cocktails compliment each food selection.

Executive Chef Russell Rummer creates a menu of small servings, which changes regularly to reflect the season. Wines are suggested with each dish, which diners may choose to enhance their meal. Direct and uncomplicated, the menu features boldly flavored dishes utilizing the best ingredients with special attention to small farm and organic produce. Each dish is created with precision and beautifully presented.
