Restaurant Description
For us sports and food always went hand in hand. For years we organized tailgate parties and events, where we grilled up tons of food, marinating it in our own sauces, spices and ingredients. Chili was always our favorite creation, and usually the centerpiece of the day.
Our Chili slowly evolved over the years from game to game, altering the ingredients and finally coming up with the Smokehouse Original Chili recipe. We also realized that chili was the perfect topping for so many other dishes. We started smothering almost everything on the grill with chili and cheese and creating more combinations to compliment the various chili recipes being used.
Our events in lot 13A at Yankee Stadium and Lot 2A at GIANTS STADIUM as well as parking lots around the country became huge. Everyone seemed to try to get the recipe for the chili, which we never gave up. It remains a secret to this day. We are passionate about chili and love various styles in addition to our own recipe.
We attended chili cook-offs and contests, traveled to famous chili parlors and finally decided to put our passion into a business, on July 4th, 2007, Smokehouse Chili & Grill was born.
This July (2008) Smokehouse Original Recipe was voted BEST CHILI in Westchester County by Westchester Magazine.
