Restaurant Description
Giuseppe, Antonio & Gemnaro La Bufala, a.k.a. "La Bufala brothers", were born in Eboli, a radiant little town in the Neapolitan countryside. After the sudden death of their father, who was a producer of bufala mozzarella, the brothers were faced by a dilemma, finding themselves at a crossroads: they had to decide whether to keep the family business or go for a new venture. Having chosen the second option, they split the money from the sale of the business and emigrated in search of a new life.

The eldest brother, Giuseppe, better known as "Pippo", whose dream was to open a restaurant, went to New York and found a job as a Pizzaiolo in an Italian restaurant. Antonio, or "Toto", went to Madrid, where he opened a flamenco dance school. Gennaro, the youngest, dreamed of becoming an artist even though he had never drawn or painted anything in his life. He went to Paris, where he worked as a night security guard in a car park.

As the years went by, Pippo got luck and opened his own pizzeria in New York. Toto, also in luck, opened the biggest pizzeria in Madrid. In October 2000, Gennaro also decided to open a pizzeria in Milan, after having developed his painting skills.

The two eldest brothers reacquired the parental business and went into partnership with Gennaro and called their company "Fratelli La Bufala - FLB".

After opening a Pizzeria in Tokyo, where they achieved great success, they decided to live out their lifelong dream by returning home to Campania. They re-introduced their brand using an innovative Japanese marketing technique. Gennaro kept his passion for art, some of his most recent works are displayed in the restaurants, so if you are interested in buying them, ask the manager!
