Restaurant Description
When the talk about Ithaca turns back 150 years, it makes the Valley House feel like newcomers. It wasn't until around 1879 that Fred Hottes started to look after the tired and hungry travelers coming off the Lehigh Valley trains. The food was good and they could rely on the shelter. through the years, the stream of Ithaca's social life flowed through these doors, every day, every season of the year.

Since it's opening in 1897, the Lehigh Valley House has shared almost 100 years with the Ithaca community and many travelers. Throughout the changes, the disasters, and the good times, the basic policy has remained good food, good times, and good friends in a pleasant dining experience where integrity and quality come first.
