Restaurant Description
The ownership and operation of Visalia Tea Garden goes back three generations in the Young family. Since the restaurant opened in 1922 by Chuck Young, the family has been building a tradition of friendly service and great food at the same location - 325 East Main Street. The Tea Garden's founder passed the family business on to Kai Young and "Mama Kai." Albert and Cathy Young were the third generation to continue the family restaurant tradition.
All patrons and long-time friends who dine at the Tea Garden are treated to the very highest quality Chinese cuisine. We use only the freshest vegetables and meats. Even the noodles are homemade by the chef like they were in the 1920's.
It is our sincere desire that you enjoy your dining experience and consider yourself a member of our Tea Garden Family.
