Start your day off right with a variety of breakfast choices served daily till 2pm. Huevos rancheros, chorizo, or burritos stuffed with scrambled eggs your choice of meats, cheese and smothered in sauce for a zesty flair. For lunch order a spicy bowl of posole, mexican pizza, or select one of their seven lunch specials offered weekdays till 3:30. Dinner specialties offered are satisfying and unique to the southwest region. The basis for the majority of Anita’s cuisine are the flavorful sauces made from New Mexico grown green and red chile peppers. An emphasis is placed on high quality fresh ingredients, hand trimmed meats and healthy tasty dishes (no lard ever used). Order any plate ‘Christmas’ style and it will be delivered half covered in red and green chile. A must to try are the piping hot sopaipillas (made to order). Similar to an Indian fry bread these soft pillow like breads are drizzled with honey and are addictive! Young diner’s favorites are mini sopaipillas sprinkled with powdered sugar and served with chocolate dipping sauce.
