Restaurant Description
Thanks for visiting and sharing your day with us. The Hughes family adventure started as Inlet View restaurant, which was a small grill, motel and marina bought in 1978. The first day C.W. opened the restaurant, he bought ten dozen eggs and sold them out. The restaurant has gone through multiple renovations. In 1992, their daughters Samantha and Amy took over the Hughes Marina. By then, the restaurant was remodeled and was up to fifty seats. Now, the restaurant is reopening as the Inlet View with over 116 seats.

That is the history. Today, the Hughes' third generation, Sydney and Jo, are serving the plates of hushpuppies they used to steal off customers' plates as children. Join us for lunch and dinner during the week. We even serve breakfast on the weekends. Our menu features fresh seafood from the boats of The Predator, Tina Rae and Capt. A.L. Milliken. Every meal is prepared after you order.

Here at the Inlet View Bar & Grill, the only thing we overlook is the Shallotte River, the Intercoastal Waterway and not the Atlantic Ocean. We hope that you will enjoy our view, our food and become a special friend too.
