Restaurant Description
The Latest Dish presents delicious, eclectic cuisine in a casual atmosphere. "The Dish" was voted Philadelphia's best new restaurant in 1997 (City Paper's Readers Choice Award), and instantly became the neighborhood spot. Our signature menu items include duck egg rolls, crab and cheese wantons, and our award winning calamari. The Latest Dish was just recently honored with the Zagat Surveys "Distinguished Restaurant" award, in addition to winning Citysearch's Best Comfort Food award. Complementing our tasty and award winning food, the Latest Dish offers a diverse selection of wine, craft beers, as well as a specialty drink menu. On selected evenings, Philadelphia's most talented DJs spin a delightful mix of bossanova, trip hop, and acid jazz, delivering an exceptional dining experience. Fluid Nightclub, considered one of Philadelphia's best dance clubs, is conveniently located directly above "the Dish" for those who would like to extend the evening. The Latest Dish can also cater your special event. We cater weddings, Bar/Bat Mitzvahs, office parties, and a variety of other affairs. Both the Latest Dish and Fluid Nightclub are available for rental for such private parties and functions. We also cater events off-premise. Let our young and dynamic staff cater your party!
