Rated 2 out of 5 by Food is always excellent. Our main server - gentleman who also seated us - was very nice but other servers would not stay long enough at our table to find out what we were asking help for... that was not a nice touch. Music is always excellent and buffet is always hot, fresh, and delicious. Menu prices are a little too high. Mar 9, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Buffet is always very good. Hot, fresh, delicious food! Tables and floor did not seem "sparkly" clean but were okay. Servers were courteous. Menu prices are too high in our opinion. Overall, a nice place to eat and we plan to eat there again. Wish that some buffet items were spicier with label to indicate it for the guest. Feb 24, 2014

Rated 4 out of 5 by Very pleasant atmosphere, food was very good, but there were no pictures, and I was not familiar with any menu item...wait staff was very helpful when I asked questions, would like to have had some pictures to see what things were before ordering Sep 11, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by The quality and authentyicity of the cuisine is remarkable and the friendliness of the servers is refreshing Sep 4, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great as always. Very disappointed though that Nawab discontinues the $25 certificates. $10 might not justify me to drive past Tazza all the way downtown from Southwest Roanoke. Aug 22, 2013

Highlights

Welcome to Nawab Indian Cuisine. Nawab, the word means a Duke or a Demi King, a man of wealth and influence, needless to say affluent with a lavish lifestyle. Our goal is to provide you with a dining experience that befits a Nawab.

Indian Cuisine is a combination of wonderful and subtle flavors. They vary as much a climates and languages of India, and are as exotic as people of India.

With about eighteen different languages and sixteen hundred plus dialects, food varies vastly from region to region. Our humble attempt to bring you the most popular dishes from the north western states of India. We have carefully selected dishes from other popular cooking styles or regions of India with a hope you would enjoy them to the fullest. With our most recent menu we have also made an attempt to introduce some contemporary style Indian dishes.

On our menu each dish will have its own distinctive flavor and aroma, and most of our dishes can be prepared to your desired level of spice choice. The flavors we offer come from masterful blend of mixing fresh ground spices on our premises, and traditional sauce making techniques. The blending and preparation of spices is an ancient art and is indispensable to Indian cuisine. The result is delightful flavors, those, which cannot be attained by the use of "Curry Powder".

We do hope you have a wonderful dining experience.
