In 1969 Sam and Aiko Nakanishi opened the first Japanese restaurant in Las Vegas and named it after their hometown, Osaka. Located just off the strip, it became a local favorite. Thirty years later their daughter Joy opened the Summerlin location spreading Las Vegas's favorite flavors of Japan to the newest part of town. Drawing on the well-established tradition of quality the restaurant was an immediate success. Please enjoy the multicultural experience she and her staff are proud to share.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Good food. Good Service. However, they keep the place waaaayyyyy too cold. I was shivering by the end of the meal. I would have stayed for dessert, but I couldn't bear the temperature in there. Bring a jacket...and gloves...and thermal underwear. Oct 29, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by I would like to have a better deal. I would like $25 off $50. I spent over $50 for lunch for two . There is a nice sushi place we go that has all you can eat for $24.99 a person . At that rate I prefer the other place unless Osaka had better deals. Oct 23, 2014

Rated 2 out of 5 by Food was ok, price for what I got was overpriced. Tea was 5$ fish was 30$ it was not a 5 star restaurant. Sep 4, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good show, good food, but a bit pricey. Aug 11, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Everything was great except that all three couples in our party wanted to split their Hibachi meals. The server did not initially inform us of the split meal charge, and, when she did, she did not tell us the reason why it was charged. We would have preferred that she be up front and tell us right off the bat about the charge and that it meant each of us would be getting our own plates and food and just splitting the meat.
