Terrible Terrible service. Our server did not care to serve us at all. He was in a terrible rush; he had the impression that he was doing us a favor by serving us food. The food was very poor. The pork was super dry and the pasta sauce tasted like it came out of a jar. We will NEVER visit Osteria Panvino again. I suggest restaurant.com remove this place as one of the participants

Too expensive for what you get. It is one of my son's favorite so I may go again with him but probably not on my own. I plan to give him the other gift certificate I purchased.

Portions were small. Everything al la carte. VERY expensive. Although the food was good, I don't think we got what we paid for.

Loved the restaurant .. I hadn't dinned there since 2000 and I'm glad they are still around.

Authentic Tuscan cooking and old-world charm has made Osteria Panevino a San Diego favorite for Italian cuisine in the historic Gaslamp Quarter for over 15 years. Guests step out of the hustle and bustle of Fifth Ave. and into a quaint hide-away replete with the sights, sounds, and smells of a Tuscan Osteria. Panevino's decor is based on the look of a Tuscan farmhouse. The terra-cotta floor tiles were imported from Italy along with the colorful ceramics and marble. On display are various works of art depicting the small colonies of Firenze in Medieval times. Guests can either dine inside or on the covered patio watching the locals pass by. An in-house pastry chef prepares all the breads, pastas, and desserts fresh daily. Together, these elements bring the atmosphere of the small trattorias and osterias you find in the hill towns of Firenze and all around the Tuscan region.
