The pizza was a true Italian pizza. My husband said the pasta sauce was excellent. Not acidic at all.

The place had a smell as soon as you walked in the door. It smelled like burnt oil or something. We stayed, but I wasn't happy about the smell. The place looks dumpy any more. We were the only customers. The prices are too high. It's not worth the 2nd coupon that I won't be using. We paid almost $32.00 with using the $10 off, including the tip. They added an 18% tip and we were only a party of 2. Most restaurants don't do that unless you have a large party. The food was great, but other than that the place is a turn-off.

We always enjoy dining at Papa Leone's and wish it wasn't quite so far from our home. The service and food are always very good. Darlene is a diamond in the rough! We love her and her endearments.

John and Virginia opened Papa Leone's Spaghetti House in 1956. Virginia prepared homemade Italian dishes using recipes she learned from John's mother in Italy. For more than 50 years we have continue to use the same Italian home made recipes our customers have come to love. Today John and Virginia's daughter Rosalie and granddaughters Jeanette and Cathy operate the business.
