They had some issues - short staff and heavy traffic for mothers day, leading to some outages on the menu - but the staff were honest about it, offered alternatives, and very attentive even though it was very busy.

They are in the midst of changing their menu.They still hand out the old one that has items they no longer serve or have been changed.We were there on a Sunday and they had run out of the only steak on the menu.We ordered the duck quesadillas which were good but were not served with any salsa,sour cream or quacomole.we also ordered the mediterranean pita also good but was not accompanied by anything.tsastiki,tahini etc.Burger was excellent as were the onion rings.Their house salad was also good but they ran out of mixed greens so it was served with iceberg.The steamed oysters came out with an oyster knife because they weren't open all the way.Once opened they were delicious served with butter I had to ask for.

The Staff and the owner checked on us often, as well as the other customers, they were extremely accomadating and very very nice! Need to take Pork chop, Cornish Hen, and Deviled Crab off the menu, update the menu with a signature dish, a little more variety, they have great potential. Seems like a happening place to hang out at the bar. The main Dining room has no decor at all, no theme, whatsoever. Place was very clean, I wish them the best, because everybody was so nice! I had the ribeye. I had to salt and pepper to flavor it, on thier defense, I asked for the demi glace to be removed, maybe that was a mistake? My wife got Shrimp and grits and she loved them except the grits were not warm all the way through and the shrimp were way over cooked and a little too salty. Even saying that, they were still awesome! I think another trip could be totaly a diiferent expirience and maybe we went on a off night?

The server was very inattentive and slow to take care of us, he also forgot some of our order. We had to wait several times for refills on our drinks and a long time for some of our items due to the slow service by our server. Our experience should have taken about an hour to an hour and 15 minutes, due to the slow service it took well over 2 hours.

we were 12, with a reservation, seated immediately, and taken care of throughout with drinks, refills, appetizers, food. i enjoyed it all.

Everything we have ever ordered has been wonderful. The waitress was a delight. The rooms are small so dining is somewhat private.

The server was pleasant but very slow. After we spent time looking at the menu and was ready to place order, the server notified us they were out of a lot of items - such as cornish hens, pork chops, oysters etc. Then we had to spend additional time deciding what to order. It took 15 minutes to get additional napkins. After completing our meal after waiting 15 mins for a check we left the dining area and went up front looking for our server. It took the server an additional 10 minutes to process our certificate and get our change.

I found the service and food good. My only negative was that the food was not hot. I had to send the cold fries back. The waitress came back right away with slightly warm fries. Nothing but the burgers were hot.

No one was at the hostess stand. A young man came to the hostess stand to answer the phone. While answering the phone he told us we could sit in the dining room or bar. We chose the dining room. We had to ask where the dining room was. No one escorted us
to our table. We waited about 10 minutes. No one came to our table. My husband had to go find someone. He was then told we would probably get better service if we moved to the bar. We moved to the bar and there waited another 10 minutes to have a drink order taken. After receiving drinks we waited another 5 minutes to have someone return for our food order. Since the service had been so slow to this point we ordered all the rest of our meals. Another 5-10 minutes and we had soup. Around 10 minutes after we had finished the soup our entrees arrived.
My husband enjoyed the Ribeye. I had the Pasta Alfredo with grilled chicken. Although the pasta had a garlic flavor it was dry. I was expecting a cream sauce but I think it had all soaked in. The grilled chicken was dry and had a burned taste. The portions were large. Our server, Marcius, was nice, just slow. The girl at the bar tried to help out with drinks and she actually took our order. The restaurant was not busy except for a group playing Texas Hold'em. Only one other customer was there ordering food. One couple picked up a take out order while we dined.

When we walked in, there was no hostess to be found. We waited for several minutes before deciding to go look around for Anyone to help us. Our server was friendly but the food was mediocre. My wine tasted a little stale and FAR too much dressing on my salad. My seat was uncomfortable and grimy feeling.

With the exception of the owner having a problem with our having two parties with two separate certificates purchased separately from two cities and we were willing to sit separated, it was a pleasant experience. The owner became very friendly after we ordered quite a bit of food, so all was well. Most of the food was excellent, a few dishes were just good.

The restaurant appeared dirty, the salt and pepper shakers were coated with grease, and the appetizer tasted like it had been prepared in the presence of cigarette smoke.

We arrived around 4:30 and stood at the podium waiting to be greeted for several minutes until we walked into the bar only to be told the kitchen doesn't even open until 5. The kitchen doesn't even OPEN until 5 on a Friday? We probably would have gone somewhere else if we hadn't had the certificate. Now that I know, I will plan differently.

WE both found our meals very good and the portion sizes were large so go with a healthy appetite. The service was good--a little slow but we didn't mind. Plus Rachael, the owner, stopped by for a few visits which we thought was very nice.
