Food is so good! Great appetizers and Wednesday nights live entertainment!

Artichoke apettizer tasted like canned artichokes in a campbell's soup-based sauce. A couple questionable mussels but the dish was tasty. Entrees very good to excellent and very generous.

Tracy, the owner, is a wonderful host. She has trained her chefs to her standards. The atmosphere is like you have been invited in to a friends home.

Cold and run-down building that could have benefitted greatly from a cleaning.

No wait, food was delicious, attentive staff, large portions. Only gave 4 shrimp for a huge plate of food, which was a little disappointing. The lack of shrimp on a $18 plate of food + shabby restaurant decor, knock this down to a 4, rather than a 5.

Food is excellant! Service is great but would love to see them expand their waiting area! There is none, you're standing in the middle of their dining area or waiting outside with no shelter

Wonderful food, great, friendly service. But, boy was it cold! So if you go on the coldest night of the year, where a sweater (or three).

The ceaser(?) salad could have been zipped up a notch, maybe a little cheese, croutons, etc.
We missed Tracey.

they dont take reservations so you have to know when to go. Once you figure this out it will all work out. There is no parking, figure that out as well.

Love this family type atmosphere. The music on Sundays is the best!

Highlights
Luke Mandola Sr. partnered with Frank Messina to buy out Frankie B. Mandola and Ray Hay in 1981. With this change, also came the change of the name- Ray Hay’s Cajun Poboys was now Ragin Cajun Seafood, named for University of Southwestern Louisiana “Ragin’ Cajuns”, where Luke Mandola Sr. graduated from in 1974.
Throughout the 1980’s and 90’s Ragin Cajun gained a reputation for having high quality Cajun Cuisine and the best Boiled Crawfish in the city. Frank and Luke Sr. turned the Ragin Cajun into a well-known Cajun institution. Customers have been known to drive 100 plus miles to enjoy the exceptional taste of our spicy crawfish.
