This was the second visit to Saba Cafe. We made better food picks this time, 2 pho, 1 salmon salad, & pork belly with rice. All very good.

The meal was only mediocre. The beef dish we ordered was salty. The flavors of the other dishes were not vibrant or anything to write home about as other Vietnamese dishes we have had at other restaurants.

I like Saba a lot. Their food tastes fresh and their service is always friendly and helpful. Love the sparkling sake, too.

We enjoyed most of the dishes. Some of the appetizers were a bit dry. More sauce!

We were warmly welcomed and seated promptly by a yound lady who was very nice. Our waiter, on the other hand, was so casual it was off putting. Maybe it would have been different if we'd been there numerous times before or knew him, but his informality made us a bit uncomfortable and would recommend he receive some training on customer service and what is an appropriate level of contact or comment.
