Really inventive cook--lots of nouvelle cuisine, some with an Asian twist (head chef is of Vietnamese origin). Fried Cornish Hen was recommended as excellent by both the owner and our waiter; since I have to eat gluten free, I usually have to avoid fried foods but the waiter checked and no wheat flour is used in this dish. It was a treat to have some delicious, crispy GF chicken--and I found a slight taste of anise made the dish very original!

The place was empty, the waitstaff was self involved, the food was mediocre esp for the price, we ordered Cornish hen and it was chicken

The overall experience was above average. Food was delicious and the staff was charming and knowledgeable. The menu was diverse but limited to only a few items in each category.

Restaurant is small, in a good way. Allows servers to give higher quality of service. Chef personally came out to delivery our plates and later to ask how the food was.

Fantastic food and service. There was only one server for the whole place on a Friday night and she managed to juggle all patrons graciously and professionally. The management did well when they got her.

The atmosphere was very warm and inviting. We loved the fragrant aromas coming from the fresh dishes. I really enjoyed the samosas. My only complaint was the coconut curry tofu was real spicy.

Two of us had excellent meals. One did not enjoy or eat the gumbo and surprisingly neither the waitress nor owner commented or asked about the fact that the bowl was untouched. Other than this, it was a very nice atmosphere in an out of the way spot, and I think I would still recommend it to other diners.

We made a reservation a week in advance however the only place they had to sit us was in an unheard back porch area or on pillows on the floor - or the "chef's table". They were out of 6 of the 9 apps and 2 of the specials by 7:30 on a Friday night. Took 20 minutes for waters, another 20 for wine and the main course was delivered almost two hours after we sat.

Nice, quiet restaurant in Metarie. Appetizers and entrees were outstanding, especially the crawfish eggrolls and the salmon. Very good service; very attentive. Definitely give it a try.

Great food; excellent recommendations on wine, cocktails, appetizers, main entrees. A small, cozy place that is perfect for enjoying each other's company without a lot of noise or feeling of being rushed.
