I waited more than 30 minutes for service. Then, I had to go seek waitress and then wait another 15 to 20 minutes for the waitress to arrive to take the order. So, we had to wait 45 minutes before we even ordered drinks. That's ridiculous!!

food was very good. room was extremely quiet (quite rare and most welcome)for Manhattan, but that's because we were the only ones in the place

After we left we discovered we were charged for an extra drink and also, in the men's room there was a man with a concession stand with snacks available for purchase! But, the service was amazing and food very good and reasonable!

Always new about Slate but the restaurant.com voucher was the main reason why we went.
Food was good, great atmosphere and the DJ was very very good! think his name was Michael M. Def. made the experience quite enjoyable along witht he bball game.

If you are going to eat here, the appetizers and sandwiches are good. This is food you nibble on while you drink and have a good time, not when you really want something amazing to eat. Atmosphere was great making it a good place to chill.
