There were people doing work in the dining area. Only half of the tables were open and many of those were dirty and had not been cleaned. It was quite noisy for dining with country music on very load.

I brought a friend in for his birthday for a quiet lunch before we headed to Wrigley for a Cubs game and the bartender working was on the ball, friendly, and made are experience very comfortable.

Delicious food, fun atmosphere, plenty of TV's to keep up on the march madness action! Our waitress was so pleasant and friendly! As a vegetarian I found the options for myself plentiful and my carnivore companion thoroughly enjoyed the meatloaf entree (which wasn't originally available on the lunch menu but our server was nice enough to talk to the kitchen for us) :) we will definitely be returning!

Our waitress was horrible. I had to walk over to the waitress station four times to get her attention. I usually have a great experience but I was not happy at all with her service and she added gratuity when the coupon clearly did not state to add grat.

The food was great although I would like to see at least 1-healthy options on the menu. Service was a bit slow but waitress was sweet as can be.

Good friendly service, our server was a little overwhelmed at times but she was always nice and friendly and apologized. No issues leaving her a good tip, she deserved it.

Entrees are affordable, with prices starting at $5.95, and the number of doggie bags we go through testifies to the portion size and value. Supper entrees include American home-style favorites such as chicken fried steak, meatloaf, pork chops, and catfish, include a choice of sides such as mashed potatoes and gravy, buttered corn and macaroni and cheese, and average $8.00-15.00. Stanley's Kitchen & Tap was founded by Jack Binyon, Jeff Kalish, and Don Kruse in 1993 with the idea of bringing back the traditional "neighborhood joint."
