Two things for them to improve: 1. The fried calamari is not fresh at all and tasted old. Anyone can tell from its color. It was either re-fried or pre-cooked. 2. The waiter needs more training. As a customer, I would happy to move the plates around when I am available and feel like. Don’t’ know why the waiter needed us to move the unfinished plates for him to serve the upcoming dish. He rather stood beside our table with one empty hand for about 10 seconds while we’re having handful of tempura on hand and in the mouth. Imaging that particular moment, we had to put the tempura down, picked up the napkins, wiped our mouth, cleaned up our hands, and then moved the plates for him. The food is good. The buffet price is $25/per person, excluded sashimi & deserts. Please watch out for the tax %. They tax on gratuity also. I had $25 coupon from RCI, but $25 off wasnt factored after subtotal, but after tax, gratuity.....This is nonsense. The waitress said she has had couple customers complained about this matter, but the owner still didn't fix their cash register. Btw, the food is good, but $25 with so limited choices. I prefer to dine at Tomi buffet (same price). More great choices, more great food, included sashimi, and tons of other quality deserts. 4/5/2013 12:18:42 PM

Food was good, but server was not taking any initiative in any service. Had to ask twice for ice tea refill. He was so stingy to give to go boxes, we had to ask 3 times for togo boxes. We needed 3 boxes and he just kept on giving only one at a time; so stingy? Why they charge service charge if they don't provide service? 3/31/2013 6:02:21 PM
food is fair but the service is so so. When I walked in, it was not that busy but they ran out of menu. They made 3 times to change the order. The flow of operation was not smooth. hopefully, they will improve the process and operation. 3/25/2013 12:29:08 PM

Food was good,but service very slow and if I wanted to do "all you can eat" I had to order something to go as well. We've order appetizers BAKED MUSSELS and they forgot about it. My husband ask them about that item ,so they finally brought that but was only 2 pieces and cold(2 baked mussels). P.S There is also charge for hot tea Lol . 3/18/2013 12:15:27 AM

This would be our second time coming into Sushi Factory. The restaurant was clean and the service was like any other sushi restaurant we go to. The waitress was nice, but she seemed more interested taking care of the people at the bar rather than us. Our food came out excellent, compliments to the chef. When the bill came, the waitress charged us the 18% service charge even though there was only 2 of us. That kind of bothered me a bit considering I had the $25 gift certificate, but really i only saved $10. This place is pricey. There are plenty of other Japanese restaurants in the area that don't charge as much but offer the same or better experience. I won't be coming back even though I have another voucher. I was also turned off by the gangster rap music they were playing. 2/11/2013 2:25:22 PM

At Sushi Factory, colorful dragons dance, Godzilla reigns supreme, and the Golden Gate Bridge spans its majestic arches across china plates. These tantalizing morsels are a mere sampling of the sushi we provide, several of which are original Japanese creations.

With a unique approach to attract customers, Sushi Factory offers All You Can Eat Sushi at an inexpensive cost. "Sushi is expensive," notes the owner. "Most people like it, but can't spend that much money, so we did something revolutionary. We offer high quality sushi and Japanese food at affordable prices." Besides several types of sushi and sashimi, they also serve kitchen food like chicken, beef, and salmon teriyaki, tonkatsu, and vegetable and shrimp tempura.

One of our specialties, the Godzilla Roll is very popular with the clients. Inside is lightly fried yellow tail, a spicy Unagi sauce, and scallions. It's sweet and spicy, with a crunchy outside, and a tender inside. People love it. We are also proud of our S.E.X. on the Mountain, which consists of Shrimp, Eel, and something eXtra (scallops). It looks like a mountain with a tree (parsley) on top. Our Dragon Roll (which includes tempura shrimp, eel, crab, and avocado) looks like a dragon, and the Spider Roll (soft-shell crab and vegetable) looks like a spider. The Golden Gate is grilled salmon skin in the shape of a bridge with fish eggs on top. The most favored of all of the rolls is Lion King Roll, which is Salmon, crabmeat, and a special sauce all baked in the oven. Every dish looks beautiful and delicious.

We would like to let everybody to know that we have great food, great service, a great location, and a beautiful restaurant. The question is how good are we? We opened about two years ago, and have seen people who came regularly and later on became members. They really enjoy our food.
