Highlights

Taan is a modern Asian noodle shop inspired by traditional izakayas and ramen shops. Executive Chef Lee Hon Pha was previously the owner of the Green Papaya in Bethesda. He has composed a menu that will consist of kushiyaki, onigiri, various small plates, and three types of ramen, pork based, duck based, and vegetarian. With work stints at Kushi Izakaya and Sushi, Morimoto Waikiki, Sticky Rice, and Toki Underground, diners can expect a well executed, young perspective on the Asian dining world.

Rated 3 out of 5 by I really think that the menu is very limited and they need to have more variety on the menu. The prices are too high! Dec 16, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by The main reason this experience was so pleasant was because of our waiter. Sadly, I forgot his name, but I know he was South American. He was very nice, kind, and helpful. My first experience, as well, but this particular waiter was very helpful. Aside from that, the noodles were great, as they were the first time. Oct 4, 2013
