Great atmosphere. It was just too warm in the restaurant last night, but this hasn't been a problem before. It was a really hot day.

Man who ordered cauliflower entree found it tasteless. & women who sampled it concurred.Since I suffer from acid reflux I was concerned eating Indian food,but salmon tikki was mild & tasty,as were chicken & shrimp apptetizers.
Disappointed to find Tantric's patio closed on an upper 60s evening,when RockBottom's next door was jammed..

Our waiter was a very nice guy. He was very helpful in recommendations that all turned out to be delicious. He was kind and accommodating, offering to keep our leftovers in the fridge so we could pick them up after the show were were attending. He also hurried things a long for us so we would be on time for our show. Everything we ate was delicious!

The food was very good and we had great service. This is the first place I think of when having Indian food in Boston.

There were 6 in our party and we were cramped at our table and after a table cleared in the back room they moved us there. They were very accommodating. The food was fabulous, so flavorful and the service was excellent!

Our waiter was attentive and made exceptional choices for us to try. The cauliflower appetizer was wonderful.

The restaurant is fine, with very friendly, competent service. However, the Restaurant.com coupon did not state the conditions correctly. I knew my $50 coupon could only be used against food, not alcohol (although it didn't even state that explicitly). The coupon also required that the table spend at least $100. But the coupon did not say that only food counted toward the $100, which is apparently the actual policy. I don't know whether this is Tantric's mistake or Restaurant.com's, and in our case it was not an issue, but you should make clear on the coupon that alcohol doesn't count toward the required $100.

They wouldnt budge from exactly what the menu said. They wouldnt break the check up properly. We paid way more than anyone else because of the way they did the certificate

The food tasted like it was frozen and reheated before being served. The flavors were not authentic and there was nothing about this restaurant that made me feel like I was eating quality Indian cuisine.

After having arrived, they added on stipulations that weren't specified on the restaurant.com certificate: couldn't be used for the buffet, couldn't be used for any type of drinks, etc. The food was pricey, and the service was fair.

The buffet evidently wasn't covered, but the certificate didn't say so. The waiter said it was fine and then the manager hassled us when we paid the bill. We also had left a very good tip for a buffet(30% of original price).
